Professor of Fashion & Science
Through both Knowledge Exchange and Research, Helen works across design, science and technology in service to humanity. Working as ‘UNHCR Designer in Residence’ 2019 – 2023 - in acts of reciprocal co creation to better lives and livelihoods in Zaatari Refugee Camp, Jordan. Bringing back life experiences and knowledge to inform research, knowledge exchange and a ‘Living Curriculum’ at London College of Fashion, UAL. Between 2022 - 2025 her work extends with UNHCR to 4 African countries.
