Elvis & Kresse: A Journey of Regenerative Transition
This pamphlet is a result of an eight-month collaboration between upcycled fashion accessories business Elvis & Kresse and Centre for Sustainable Fashion, London College of Fashion, UAL. The pamphlet is a powerful case study of regenerative transition, that can be adapted, scaled up and scaled across by (fashion) businesses across the UK and beyond.
This pamphlet is a result of an eight-month collaboration between upcycled fashion accessories business Elvis & Kresse and Centre for Sustainable Fashion, London College of Fashion. Between November 2021 and July 2022, we witnessed and documented a key period in the company’s transition from their commitment to Net zero by 2030 to a more ambitious goal: becoming Net regenerative by 2030.
This pamphlet captures the key milestones along the way and shares Elvis & Kresse’s experiences, including ups and downs. It is for everyone who wants to better understand why a fashion business became involved in agriculture.
The pamphlet is a powerful case study of regenerative transition, that can be adapted, scaled up and scaled across by (fashion) businesses across the UK and beyond.
The project was supported by the Arts and Humanities Research Council, The Design Museum, and the Future Observatory as part of their Design Exchange Partnership pilot scheme in 2021/2022.
